Emma Pearl Retegan, 85, of Sedona, died Aug. 8.

Born Nov. 30, 1928, in East Chicago, Ind., she lived in Sedona for more than 12 years.

She is survived by her son Greg [Donna] Retegan of Sedona; daughters Theda [Ed] Miller of Indianapolis, Joyce Pierce of Merced, Calif., Diane Retegan of Cottonwood and Moreen Retegan of Rio Vista, Calif., and several grandchildren.

Andrew Pardiac

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
