Move over Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sedona has its own running man.

Adam Gifford, along with his wife Lindsay Scheiwiller, run two running stores in Sedona and are avid runners themselves. Gifford said they go out 20 to 30 hours a week, hitting the trails in the Verde Valley and beyond. Gifford said he likes the work and that it was no accident that he wound up here.

“My wife and I moved here specifically to open a business. We love the Southwest. We looked at a number of towns and figured we liked Sedona the best,” he said.

The couple has been in competitive running for 20 years and participate in many events around the country.
