Yavapai County Community Health ServicesYavapai County Community Health Services is offering several days of dedicated appointments for parents who need to get their child’s required back-to-school shots.


All vaccines required for school attendance will be available. Parents are reminded to be sure and bring the child’s immunization records and, if applicable, the child’s insurance card to the clinic. Appointments can be made by calling
639-8132.


For children with current insurance coverage under the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System, or private insurance plans, those insurance plans will be billed directly.


No child will be turned away due to lack of insurance coverage or inability to pay.


Immunization is one of the most important things a parent can do to protect their children’s health, and indeed they are required for school attendance in the United States. Today, we can protect children from 14 serious diseases with a simple series of vaccinations.
