City to upgrade wastewater plant

The Sedona City Council voted unanimously to spend more than $4 million for needed capacity upgrades to the Sedona Wastewater Reclamation Plant.The vote came during the Nov. 12 council meeting.

Lucile Cox, 100, of Sedona, died Sept. 24.

Born Nov. 23, 1911 in Muskogee, Okla., she lived in Sedona for 44 years.

She is survived by her brother C.A. Overstreet; nieces and nephews Ann and Dan Edwards, John, Jane and Jim Overstreet; Suzy Meadows, their families and many friends.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 4 p.m. at the Church of the Red Rocks. Contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Sedona.
