Redrocknews.com has election results on Tuesday night

Another election season has finally come to an end, and for some, it couldn’t have come soon enough.

Arizonans were bombarded with negative campaigning as candidates seemed more concerned with pointing out all the bad attributes of their opponents than telling voters specifically what they planned to do for us.

Sedona Red Rock News Managing Editor Trista Steers MacVittieI, for one, am more interested in learning candidates’ positions on issues facing our state and communities than about their personal lives from their opponents.

Waging war against an opponent rather than reaching out to voters seems to be the chosen mode of campaigning, however.

The hardest part for voters is determining who or what to believe.

Each camp claims to be telling the truth about budgets, laws and spending but how does a voter know who’s right when everyone will swear their facts are accurate?

Oftentimes two candidates are both technically right, but they are looking at the same facts and figures in different contexts.

The good news is we’ve made it through another round of mudslinging as election day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, comes and goes.

Due to our printing schedule, we will be unable to bring you results from Tuesday’s election in our Wednesday, Nov. 7, newspaper.

Luckily, thanks to technology and an award-winning website, our readers can access preliminary numbers moments after they are released by Yavapai County.

All our readers have to do is visit redrocknews.com Tuesday night for a breakdown of polling numbers.

Two weeks after the election and Arizona still has not counted over 163,000 Ballots.

That is not just Wrong, that is Rove Wrong.

Even states in Mexico run a better election. Maybe Arizona needs to Outsource the next election.
