Fiesta del Tlaquepaque celebrated Mexican Independence Day early in style, with dancers and other fun activities for the whole family.

The Fiesta del Tlapquepaue brought in colorful characters, activities for children and intricate dances as the arts and crafts village celebrated Mexian Independence Day, which officially fell on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

Here are some of the images photojournalist Jordan Reece took of the festivites. Enjoy, but don’t try balancing a glass cup on your head while dancing. It’s harder than it looks.
