Have you ever wondered what it is about a painting that makes it work ?

Why do you like one painting over another even though they are both technically well done?

We will explore what makes a good painting in our color and composition classes.

The Association of Village Artists will be opening their studios to the public and showing their latest works, as well as discussing and demonstrating their styles and techniques. The event will begin with an artists reception Friday evening September 25th, from 6 to 8PM. It will be held at the Hilton Resort and Spa, 90 Ridge Trail Drive (VOC). This will kick-off the artists open studios going on September 26th and 27th between 10AM and 5PM. Everyone is welcome to attend the self-guided tour. You can view a map and other details of the event at www.aspenheightsimaging.com/tour/
