I heard that one local Title Company let go their office manager and another just laid off 17 employees in all of Yavapai County.  So, it appears that the title companies are seeing a slowdown too.  This strengthens my overall idea that it’s the perfect time to buy… the market is slow, prices are down, and we all know that markets are cyclical… it will come back.  I’ve heard that some people are waiting… but that doesn’t make much sense… are they waiting for the market to start to go back up????  In which case they’ll pay more than they’ll pay right now?  I’d rather buy at the bottom than on the upswing.  If you’re in the market to buy – now’s the time – lots of homes on the market, prices are good… take a look for yourself!
