Carrie Earl Hill, 84, of Cornville, died Wednesday, Dec. 17.

Born in Phoenix, Hill had served as the Cornville postmaster.

Hill is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard; two daughters, Pat [Harold] Pennington and Phyllis [Darrell] Pirtle, of Cornville; a sister, Blanche Sweet, of Prescott; and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Hill’s life will be at a later date by family.
