   Irene Fanning, of the Village of Oak Creek, passed away on August 28, 2008.  She was born January 15, 1928 in Brunswick, Maine to Henry and Dina Lemieux.  She formerly lived in Des Moines, Iowa and Denver, Colorado.

   Her beloved husband of nearly 25 years, John Fanning, preceded her in death in 1997.  She is survived by her sister Rita Lemmons, brother Hank Lemieux, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Also surviving her are John’s children: Barb (Fred) Miller, Dave (Candy) Fanning, and Tom Fanning, his 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grand children.  Private services were held on August 31st.
