Sedan rolls over on Brewer Road1 min read

The driver of a Chevrolet Lumina driving north on Brewer Road lost control and crossed over the southbound lane at 4:21 p.m., Friday, May 7.

The Lumina drove into a ditch and rolled over on to its passenger side.

Sedona police and Sedona Fire District emergency medical personnel were on the scene.

The driver suffered minor injuries but was taken to Sedona Medical Center by SFD firefighters. The sedan struck several trees as it drove into the ditch, according to SFD Battalion Cmdr. Jason Coil.

One of the SFD firefighters on the scene is an amateur arborist, so he and other SFD firefighters volunteered to do what they could to save the homeowner’s favorite tree, an Arizona juniper, while waiting for the tow truck driver to remove the vehicle. brewer_rollover_63
