Here we go into a NEW YEAR. What does “new” mean? Numerologically the letters n and e and w all resonate to the number 5, which means excitement, drama, unpredictable change, restlessness, travel, adventure, taking chances, intellect, charm, creativity, pizzazz, versatility, integrity, heart-centered love and generosity. Wisdom through experiences, and expansion beyond secure sameness.
Added together 3 fives are 15, which equal 6. Six interprets to finding answers for the questions that changes bring, by having stepped out of hibernation with limited experience and views, to see the bigger picture in the world, gaining new and positive perceptions, which in turn bring peace, harmony, solutions and the ability to mentor others.
Numerologically 2012 will be a 5 year. Added together, 2 and 1 and 2 equals 5. Whatever sign the moon is in at the stroke of our new year colors the emotional flavor of the whole year with its characteristics. She will be in Aries, which means new beginnings, rebirth and striving to be the best. Of course every year brings newness, but for that matter, so does every season, month, change of zodiac sun sign every month, week, day, hour, minute and second. Change is always written in the wind; we change from babies to children, to teens, young adults, adults, seniors, elders. The graduations make us more intelligent and hopefully wiser. Change is due and is in the air, in the stars, in the cards. Rather than hold on to the old ways, ride with the wind, remembering evolution is unfolding, and the time is now.
Would you like things to have always stayed the same throughout time; or do you trust the exquisite divine energy that is at the helm of our ever-changing world and consciousness? In a new millennium, plus a brand new age of Aquarius, not to mention a brand new precession occurring in 2012, which only happens about every 26,000 years, we have been undergoing preparation relatively recently. With the onset of jet lift, the space program, computers and cell phones, we have been made ready to skyrocket quickly into higher consciousness and so much more brilliant technology that will change us so fast, just yesterday will seem like the dark ages.
Think about progress in the years you have been alive; for me it was hearing my dad tell us that to heat his childhood home at night, they had bed warmers under the beds; its pan would be filled with hot coal. In my childhood, telephones had just become private but I still experienced the last of party lines at friends’ homes. Television was brand new. If you think we’ve advanced, hold on to your hat!
More importantly, don’t hold onto outdated concepts. Jewish Jesus brought new ways of thinking at the beginning of the Piscean Age a bit over 2,000 years ago, which weren’t very popular, were they? Are you going to allow new ways of thinking 2,000 years later, now, at this New Age of Aquarius, or throw stones? It’s called the evolution of consciousness. Just like a baby naturally evolves in time. As we grow over time, more and more things fill our minds that are new information. So why close your mind? Life itself evolves too. Should we think like the caveman? Even in the name of progress we experience setbacks, shocks, disappointments, and they help us gain perspective, perseverance, and inner peace by seeing the ultimate good in everything. For instance, we tear down buildings to put up better ones, right?
Think on a larger scale. There’s a reason they call us older, seasoned, mature and wiser. We get it. Because we’ve had experience. No need to forget old acquaintance; just be more forgiving, flexible, open-minded and generous of heart. We are, and everything is, evolving. Before we can become new and even more matured, we’ll see and go through changes. Have a new acquaintance with your “old” self, others around you in the world, and earth, itself, too, as it is responding to the passage into its new age! Let’s mentor with wise eyes, understanding the bigger picture.
