Sedona Fire District firefighters tackled a home fire in the Sunset Village Mobile Home Park after 8 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 15.

Firefighters had some difficulty finanlly extinguishing the flare-ups due to the volume of items the man had inside the mobile home, said Interim Fire Chief Terry Keller said. The fire was extinguished enough for fire investigators to enter around 9 a.m. The home was a total loss.

One man was taken by ambulance from the scene to Sedona Medical Center with minor, non-life-threatening burn injuries to his lower legs, SFD Fire Marshal Gary Johnson said.
