Calling all angels. Your wings may have been spread for flight, but flying not so easy since last January. Our energy is returning to lift us up and onward again. Take a nice deep breath of relief. The wind beneath your wings will begin to pick up speed this Friday, the 13th at 8:53 pm Sedona time (same as pacific time right now). Give it a few days to be able to gust full on, and I’ll bet you will notice you’re not feeling so depleted and tired, very soon.
For everything under the sun, there is an astrological explanation. This one is ‘thanks’ to the planet Mars having gone retrograde in January. Retrograde is the opposite of direct forward motion, so it’s self-explanatory…plus…Mars is like the ignition on, the activator, the energy within us, the pedal to the metal, the passion and motivation. We haven’t been able to fly forward as we’ve wanted, perhaps. Thankfully, Mars only does this about every two years. Since the planetary movements and alignments are what I consider the language of God, it helps to know something like this so we don’t think there’s something wrong with us.
Now, just in time to help us regenerate our energy, Pluto (the higher octave of Mars) went retrograde in Capricorn yesterday, Tuesday morning, just after 9am. Another retrograde, you ask? Won’t that slow us down? No worries. Pluto will encourage us to transform ourselves; our structure, our skeleton, bones, muscles, skin…Some will go on a physical or spiritual cleansing like a liver detox or more raw food, less sugar, or start yoga or meditation; we’ll strengthen or bodies in some form, and others will reinvigorate a plan for the personal life, versus professional life.
So what’s your pleasure? Refining your eating regime? More body movement? Massage? Choose your favorite. Maybe you want to mix it up? It’s not about doing what seems like drudgery…not at all. Aren’t we more prone to do something if we like it? Isn’t variety the spice of life? Personally, I like yoga, water aerobics, massage, walking and dancing. But the challenge is to get out of the house to do these things, isn’t it?
But we can do yoga at home, and I’m waiting for the pool to be warm enough, though I did buy a pass for the indoor pool not too far from home, and we can put on dance music and rock out.
I was contemplating getting a sweet dog, to walk for both our exercise, but I got a sweet and purring playing kitty, instead, to take care of, with whom more love can be shared. I’ve been told by experts that the purr of a cat is the same frequency as bone. So I’m getting stronger bones, and as love is very healthy for the soul, my heart is getting stronger too. Now all you awesome dog people, don’t turn on me. I had to be honest with myself. I’m just not ready to walk the dog 2-3 times a day or take he or she everywhere I go, with a scooper ready for the pooper. It is upper body strength-building carrying all that kitty litter to and from the house, you know.
