Local business owner Jenny Bertolini lost everything May 8 when her home on Blue Horizon Road burned to the ground.

The family moved to the Sedona community from Colorado eight years ago. Bertolini leased the home with an option to purchase. Since the fire, that option is no longer available, she said. The family is now looking for a new home and hopes to continue living in the Sedona area.

“We’re just trying to rebuild our life,” Bertolini said. “I had been making payments on the house that burned down for two years. I just found out two days ago the owner is not going to let me continue with the contract. That’s the last piece for me to let go of is the house that I have been making payments on for the last two years, over $10,000, and I am about to lose my rental car.”
