Enchantment Resort is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and it is doing so by hosting a 25th anniversary tennis tournament.
The tournament will be held at the resort Friday, Nov. 2 through Sunday, Nov. 4.
The entry fee is $40 per team and $20 per team for a second event.
Events that will be offered are men’s and women’s doubles at the 9.0, 8.0 and 7.0 levels and open mixed doubles.
“I encourage you to find a partner and consider playing in this fun event,” said Larry Lineberry, a U.S. Professional Tennis Association master professional in Sedona. “The Enchantment Resort is a beautiful place to play and at the best time of the year in Sedona. [Host professional] John [Meyers] will work with you the best he can regarding time requests.”
The entry deadline for this tournament is Friday, Oct. 26. Participants can enter by going to the Enchantment Resort website, or by calling Meyers at 206-6027.
Also on Friday, Nov. 2 is the annual Northern Arizona Tennis Association awards banquet. The banquet will be held at the Vintages Grille in Rimrock, starting at 6 p.m.
“Many area players will be recognized for their accomplishments this year,” Lineberry said. “Everyone is welcome to attend. So play at Enchantment in the day, and attend the banquet with friends in the evening.”
