Sedona residents and visitors recognize the beauty of the city the minute they drive into it and those who get to chance to be active on the trails, whether it is hiking, biking or walking, know just how beautiful and unique the Sedona landscape is.
The city has also now been nationally recognized for it.
Trail Runner Magazine named Sedona one of the best trail-running cities in the United States and Canada.
The article was featured in the October issue of Trail Runner Magazine, a monthly nationally-circulated magazine dedicated to “the off-road running community, encouraging runners of all ages and abilities to experience the outdoors and achieve a healthier lifestyle through off-road running,” using in-depth writing and compelling photography, according to its website.
Sedona was named among some of the most beautiful nature-centered areas in North America, including Port Angeles, Wash.; Sun Valley, Idaho; Mountain View, Ark.; Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; Eureka, Calif.; Jasper, Alberta, Canada; and Central Park in New York City.
Sedona was chosen for its views, but also its unique lifestyle.
