One steps in; one steps out.
Sedona Fire District Governing Board member Craig Dible served at his last board meeting recently, while incoming board member Scott Jablow looks forward to his swearing-in ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 19.
Jablow took over as the newest member of the Sedona Fire District Governing Board on Saturday, Dec. 1. Dible’s last official meeting was Wednesday, Nov. 28. Jablow will be sworn in during the board’s next regular meeting at Station No. 1 in West Sedona. That meeting begins at 4:30 p.m.
Jablow toured Sedona Fire District facilities with SFD Fire Chief Kris Kazian on Nov. 27.
Jablow, also a City of Sedona Planning and Zoning commissioner, said he felt it was important to understand how the district operates.
“As a newly elected SFD board member, I believe that it’s important for me to understand as much about our fire district as I can in order to make educated decisions affecting our tax payers, uniformed personnel and civilian support staff.”
Jablow said he is excited to be a part of the SFD team.
