The Scorpions suffered a tough, yet heated loss against a basketball team in a division higher than them, despite taking the lead early and putting up an aggressive fight.

The Sedona Red Rock High School girls team [7-6] lost to the Bradshaw Mountain Bears [13-1]. 58-47, at home on Monday, Jan. 7. The Scorpions suffered numerous foul calls and Scorpions Head Coach Jackie Strickling was thrown out late in the second half.

It was a defensive game, characterized by aggressive play and reliance on rebounds and strong passes.
