A young Scorpions athlete has her eyes on a golf scholarship and she has motivation for it.

Savanah Cooper is only a sophomore at Sedona Red Rock High School, yet she’s already setting up a golf regimen so hopefully one day, she can go to college on a full-ride scholarship because of her athletic skills.

Cooper’solder sister already has. Whitney Cooper, a 2012 SRRHS graduate, plays second base for the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, one of the top NCAA Division I softball programs in the country, on a softball scholarship.
