The Sedona Marathon is only one day away, and it is going to be bigger than ever.
According to the Sedona Chamber of Commerce, 2,200 to 2,500 runners, joggers and walkers from all over the world will be participating in the four 2013 races on Saturday, Feb. 2, making it the largest Sedona Marathon in its eight-year history.
“The Sedona Chamber of Commerce has been preparing for the Sedona Marathon event for several months now,” said Kegn Hall, the public relations and events manager of the Sedona Chamber of Commerce. “We are organized and prepared for the Sedona Marathon event to be bigger and better than ever before.”
Runners from all over Arizona, the United States and the world, will be represented in this race, coming from as far away as Japan, Afghanistan, the United Kingdom, Canada and India. They should expect ideal marathon weather of a high of 65 degrees and sunny with some clouds.
