Who would have thought a time would come when the Grand Maya Elder and I were meant to meet and share time together, speaking alone, privately?…The Keeper of the Maya Long Count Calendar, knower of its mathematics, teachings, visions and prophecies, would take time to spend with me, alone. Was that a destined prophecy; had it been ‘in the cards?’ Apparently I was the only one guided to request it. With a tight calendar while in Sedona, he chose to spend time with me, his interpreter agreed to the time, and his production and event staff honored us both by waiting and pushing their evening dinner and meeting back at length, to 8:00. Who hasn’t heard about the Maya Long Count Calendar, the sacred calendar which ended December 21, 2012? By the way the correct word is Maya, not Mayan. For years documentaries on television unsuccessfully attempted to explain what it could mean when the calendar’s dates and predictions would come to an end. Narrators spoke of doom, but near the end taking just a few last minutes, discussed possible hope for the future. Famous spiritual authors and speakers traveled the world to discuss the possibilities of what the end of the calendar could mean. Included in all this were Nostradamus’ predictions, and was it coincidental that the Chinese I Ching dates of beginning and end, ended on the same day as the Maya calendar ended? It was the great mystery, and we were all counting down the days to the end of the calendar. Some built bunkers to survive the end of the world. On December 20, 2012, five days before the end of the Maya calendar, my article was published in the Sedona Red Rock News, and you can read it, and others, online, called: Maya, Illusions, Antidepressants, Murders and the Apocalypse Lifting of the Veil. It addressed some of the very subjects that Grand Maya Elder, whom I affectionately call Tata, discussed before, during and after the scheduled 3:00 showing of the 77-minute movie about him and his spiritual work regarding this shift of the ages. It was shown Sunday as part of The Sedona International Film Festival at the Sedona Performing Arts Center, seating 750 people attending from all over the country, and was at last year’s International Film Festival, (when I was out of state) yet the only film ever allowed to be shown a second year, due to popular demand. Thank you divine timing. What is a calendar? A timeline? A schedule?  A chart, agenda, datebook? Just like our calendar of 365 days each year, calendars are based on the heavenly movements of the planets and stars. The solstices and equinoxes occur precisely at the moment the Sun enters the four cardinal signs of the zodiac. Farmer’s Almanac displays timing for planting based on location of the Moon, and discusses Mercury’s retrogrades, as well. Things just work better when we’re in alignment with time and its ever-changing meanings. You can plan your life positively, by knowing. Grand Maya Elder, Grandfather Cirilo Perez Oxlaj, also called Wandering Wolf or Tata (grandfather) spoke on the stage about the multitudes addicted and creating war with each other. We have just completed the long count of what is called the Period of Darkness; Period of 9 Hells, and asks us each to awaken to be able to utilize the potential of this next long count; the period of time which prophecy  teaches can be a time of peaceful love, but it is up to each one of us to decide to live awake and see that we are the same. There must be an equal balance of female and male expressing authentically for this to occur, so the feminine will take more leadership going forward, as her wisdom had been kept under wrap, causing unbalanced dark distortion of life. Treat yourselves and others as sacred; children of Father Mother God; with dignity, making decisions based on communion with nature and spirit beings, reasoning with others peacefully; no longer believing anger and fighting for power is The Way. Commune with the spirits that reside in nature, and ask Father for help with what you need and desire. You will be heard when you ask, and will be helped. If you can’t go into nature and speak with the elements, light a candle and put a glass of water next to it. Ask Mother for what you need and desire. My public and private hours with Tata, the personal exchange that we had for a long count of time, and what I took with me from then, is deep in my very being and has shifted me in a grounded Way, filling my soul with solidly trusted insights that I base my aliveness on, now. I have never felt like this before, in time. Merely two months in to this new long count lasting thousands of years in upcoming time, ushering in peace and love after hell on earth, Great Spirit brought before my eyes the physical manifestation of this graced, peaceful, loving, wise, aged, humble, powerful, politically and globally-effecting presence, in this man. I was drawn to him incredibly. I felt I loved him, knew him. Some times we sat closely side by side, body to body, I put my hands on his arm and we looked into each others’ eyes silently at length.  I am truly blessed by the Great Spirit that comes through Tata, who literally blessed me as a spiritual Godhead figure does, moments before we parted, having spent beautiful time talking about life and my life, as we stood up, face to face, and he uttered words in his language, holding my hands. Time has gifted me and it’s only just begun.
