A professional trail care crew from the International Mountain Bicycling Association discussed Better Living Through Trails in Cottonwood on Friday, Feb. 22.
The presentation, which demonstrated the economic, health and community benefits of trails in destination communities like Sedona, kicked off a weekend of activities which included a trail building and maintenance clinic and trail building in Dead Horse Ranch State Park on Saturday, Feb. 23, and a group trail ride on Sunday, Feb. 24.
“Our mission is to create, enhance and preserve great mountain biking experiences,” trail care professional Jesse Livingston said. “We want to protect the trails that we already have, we want to create new trails — especially for new riders — and we want to enhance mountain biking experiences.”
