Sedona softball team is young, but dedicated1 min read

There might not be a lot of girls on the Sedona Red Rock High School softball team, and many of them may be young and inexperienced, but their determination, commitment and effort gives them the potential to compete on the same level as any of their big school competitors.

“To be honest, it will be a building year for us,” said Emily Aitken, the starting pitcher for the Scorpions. “We don’t have the number of players we want to. Everyone works hard and wants to be better, but it’s going to take time.”

Head Coach John Parks saw the work it’s going to take after a scrimmage against Williams on Feb. 19.
