Something Will Divinely Come to Me5 min read

As many times as I’ve written this spiritual column for Sedona’s Red Rock News, most often my mind doesn’t know what to write about. I just sit there listening and once or twice I’ve begun to write something even though I could feel in my gut that wasn’t it, erased and listened some more.

Today I’m bringing you along for the ride. Listening, listening. I’ve had so much busyness this week but it doesn’t seem any of it is food for an article. Hmmm, listening, listening. Well this week I was oober busy with Readings. I used the word oober in last week’s article and it tickled me. I like it. I let it come out just now; seems to fit. Oober. See if you can use it in a sentence this week.

I slept in this morning; (been having early mornings and very late nights), and my deadline to get this article in on time is looming close. Oober close! Couldn’t resist. In fact I’m LOL.

I hosted a gathering at my home welcoming a dear friend, the top person in Young Living, who is an expert also in nutrition, herbology, Chinese medicine, and more, with a double PhD in psychoneurology and integrative medicine.

Almost weekly she is on a plane somewhere in the world speaking to audiences of hundreds and thousands about medicine grade essential oils as the top solution next to nutrition, for achieving and maintaining wellness . I’ve been passionate for their miraculous product line over 22 years, myself, and expected up to 24 people as the RSVPs were ramping up. It settled at a decent guest list, but phone calls, repeat phone calls, and call waiting calls were constant.

There were a lot of preparation days to have my home ready, deep cleaning, chairs brought from my office, planting the gardens with flowers, shopping for refreshments, etc., and all in between oober filled days of Readings. Did that oober at least give you a little oober giggle?

I also was called early, to the set of a TV show filming, in case I was needed. I was in episode one and episode two is in the creation. May I say that oober excites me? Was that an overload? OK, I’ll cool it. I arrived in a long, flowing, colorful, beautiful outfit as potential costume, brought a change of clothes over one arm and coffee in the other. Filming was outside my office, and as divine timing always sets the stage, immediately after they wrapped, the Readings resumed back to back.

I had a sense early on, this writing could turn out to be about divine timing, yet believed I had written on the topic previously. I see that we are visiting it again. In fact, deadline time for this article is looming closer at this moment.

Yesterday was a friend’s birthday, and a new friend was coming to Sedona from Flag on business. We’d previously arranged to have dinner and chill, plus I wanted my friends to meet each other.  Leaving phone messages attempting to arrange it all around our three schedules was not frustrating to me because I have 200% faith in timing always being perfect.

They knew I had a radio interview by phone at 5:30, and we would connect again after that was complete to decide the where. Readings were swarming and I allowed myself to even give another, someone requested, completing a little later than the time I desired to leave, to do my radio time.

Phone calls were packed tightly, during my drive home to prep for the radio. Friends wanted to chat and I deferred to today, as my timeline was back to back. Another friend who moved from Sedona and is here on her business, is also dancing via emails and phone calls with me, arranging dinner and time to catch up based on our schedules. I pause to say thank goodness my phone is hands free through the car.

I love it all, and instead of feeling tension, I am able to relax through the busyness, knowing divine time always allows flow and breathing easy.

I hadn’t bought a birthday card yet, and though I intended to accomplish finding a great one earlier, now my interview, which began 20 minutes late, was put to bed, and it was about time for us all to meet. I drove to the shop at my office location, leaving messages for them both, found the perfect card, and  wrote my heartfelt sentiments.

My friend from Flag then called back and happened to be right across the street (of course, right?) so we met up, he hopped into my car, I mentioned my birthday friend has gone vegetarian, so he made a suggestion, we googled it,  I set the GPS, called my friend to give him the address, and we all met there. Three hours later a great time was had by all, and my Flag friend and I made plans for dinner in a few days when I’m up there accomplishing another round of happy things.

Why did Great Loving Spirit (I call God) have me write this personal weekly journey to you? After all, though it’s proofed, edited and ready to go, it’s also one hour past deadline, so I’m trusting it must all be in divine alignment with higher timing.

Can I say oober divine?
