Hitting one hole-in-one is something most golfers dream about, but hitting three in a month is something almost unimaginable.
Don Ryan of Sedona did just that in February at a golf course in the Village of Oak Creek.
“The first hole-in-one I got was exciting,” Ryan said. “But it just got more and more amazing with each one.”
Ryan hit his first hole-in-one about a year and a half ago on Hole 3 of Canyon Mesa Golf Course. Then on Feb. 7 of this year, he hit his second hole-in-one on the same hole.
“I couldn’t see it go in,” Ryan said, “but a foursome ahead of us saw it go in and they were waving at me like crazy. I got up to the green and didn’t see my ball. I looked in the hole and there it was.”
Ryan’s next hole-in-one was on Feb. 18, on Hole 2.
