I Magi Nation. The magi were three wise men and astrologers who knew, to find the gifted newborn they would follow the stars. Is that magic? Is astrology magic? Does imagination result in magic? Do I live in a magic nation? One nation under God. Actually, magic is natural, just like intuitive knowing, guiding stars, healing plants and positive thinking are natural. Imagination is a natural way to create and we have only begun to know what we don’t know. We are capable of major transformations and knowing this is the lifting-off first step up.I had a big connect-the-dots moment when I was with medical doctor, celebrated spiritual author Deepak Chopra about six or seven years ago. He explained the way caterpillars transform into butterflies in a scientific, but awe-inspiring way. We have just celebrated Passover and Easter, so it is good timing to talk about resurrection. It is fact that everything is made of energy, so we can’t die, just change into a different form. And that form can be seen. You can read about my June, 2012 experiences with a disembodied being of white light exuding love and peace to know as my own, in an article I wrote last year. Most of us know the basic way a caterpillar goes into a cocoon and emerges as a butterfly. You may have learned about people helping the butterfly struggling to get out of its cocoon, to eliminate some of its hard work, ultimately realizing that it couldn’t fly because the wings weren’t completely developed, requiring its own stress and pressure of struggle, to emerge wholly formed. That, in itself, might be a lesson for us to let others, even young ones, learn by experience rather than believe we must shield them from every potential challenge. But here’s the magic, and what you likely may not know. While in its cocoon, the caterpillar’s cells begin to become like liquid and its form becomes watery. Emerging are what science calls imaginal cells, which fight and always win over a caterpillar’s former cells, which battle to stay the same. Imaginal cells are stronger than any other cells. It is these cells that create the visual beauty, and the ability to lift from crawling to flying. Think of a formed ice cube beginning to melt, and after transforming back to water, it is chilled and becomes a different form. Think of you as an iced cube, that was formed by the ocean of liquid called God energy where all ice cubes, (we) are formed from. To become new, reborn and transformed we might have to melt down varying degrees to have ourselves listen closely to the strong cells of divine source God energy, first. Know that your imagination to lift yourself up is stronger than the fight to be hard and fast, staying only one way. Melt like you have just been hugged or kissed lovingly and let yourself soften. After being touched by something divine, we can all reform and shape shift into a new being. Can you imagine that?We are created in the image of God. Image / Imaginal cells. Creator / Creative images. Imagination is about forming or receiving images. The received images are intuitional knowing. Have you ever known who was calling on the other end of the phone before answering? Forming images on purpose is the process of creating. What would you desire your imagination to create? Are you ready to live out your purpose? What a gift. Receive the gift. Be the gift. The first record ever produced under my recording contract in NYC was called Better Fly, Butterfly. I just re-discovered the framed record in going through boxes, so I’ll say to you now, Fly Better, Butterfly! Be willing to stop crawling, appreciate the efforts you make to get out of your cocoon, and Spread your wings! The butterfly you can become is already promised and present in your current self. Just as it is, come our last transformation on earth emerging into heaven. Create your heaven on earth first. Imagine your today and beyond is always growing more wonderful and magical. Be grateful for it all, having wisdom about struggle. Keep the affirmation, it just keeps getting better and better.
