With the Help of Worldwide Media Coverage, the Sundogs Reach Season Ticket Goal1 min read

The Arizona Sundogs announced they have met their 300 new season ticket goal at 8:30 a.m. Friday, April 26. The team sold 302 new season tickets in under 120 hours.

Brad Fain, Chris Presson, Lew Rees and Jason Morgan spent 120 hours in a five-by-eight lift, extended 30-feet above Prescott Valley, descending only for scheduled restroom breaks.

Friday morning, Satish “Catfish” Athelli’s Twitter page exploded from numerous sources inquiring about the “Whatever it Takes” Campaign after word about it was published on the popular sports news website Deadspin. Within minutes the Sundogs office phones rang non-stop with requests for interviews.

ABC15 News, Fox10 News and AZTV all made the trip from Phoenix to cover the campaign. International media from Ontario, Canada and the BBC World News in the UK also reached out.

“We are so excited and grateful for everyone who came out and purchased their season tickets,” Sundogs’ General Manager Chris Presson said. “We never imagined the type of coverage this campaign would receive.”

“The support of the town and people from around the world is tremendous, and we couldn’t have been as successful without them.” Co-Investor Brad Fain said. “There is no better entertainment value in Northern Arizona than an Arizona Sundogs game.”
