In addition to playing in the summer softball, Ortega is the West Sedona School baseball coach. Players in the league come from all walks of life.Games will be held on Sedona’s beautiful summer evenings, every Thursday beginning June 6. The season will run for 10 weeks.

Captains may register their teams at the Parks and Recreation office at 102 Roadrunner Drive in Sedona.

All games will be at 7 and 8:15 p.m. at Posse Grounds Park. However, if seven or more teams register, the game times will be changed to 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45 p.m.

For the past few years, the league had the minimum number of teams [four], but last year, the number of teams jumped to 10, which made it more fun for everybody.
