This week’s Little League game of the week goes to the Angels.

Sedona’s Little League Minors team kept its perfect record intact after beating the Verde Valley Thunder 15-5 Tuesday, May 14, at Posse Grounds Upper Field. The score could have been much higher, but the five-run Little League rule was put into effect after each time the Angels were at bat.

Even though the Angels took control of the game early, both teams demonstrated a type of hustle and eagerness that is a lot of times lost in higher levels of the game.

Moses Marasco pitched three of the four innings played, continually catching batters off-guard with his accurate pitching.

The Thunder tagged Marasco for three runs early in the game, but Marasco quickly settled in, striking out the side in the first inning.
