The adult softball league of Sedona is now in full swing and it is going to be an exciting season.
The league is in its third week of games, and with 10 teams, it is bound to bring competition, camaraderie and maybe a little drama.
“It is very exciting to have 10 teams. Last year was actually the first time we reached that number, but to maintain the consistency is a good sign,” said Rachel Murdoch, the Parks and Recreation manager for the city of Sedona. “I have heard that our league has a reputation for being both competitive and fun.
“We don’t have the hardcore tournament teams joining us, so the new players feel comfortable joining in, but we still have enough seasoned players to make game play challenging.”
There are teams representing two major resorts, a team of parents from a local preschool and other teams representing local businesses.
