Phyllis [Thiel] Lindberg, 80, a Sedona resident since 1971, died Oct. 17.

She was born in Minneapolis. She married her geologist husband in 1956.

She is survived by Paul Lindberg, her husband of 57 years; daughter Karen [Ed] Cutler of Anchorage, Alaska; son Paul Lindberg Jr., and grandchildren Sophia and Isaac, from Portland, Ore.

A celebration of life takes place at Poco Diablo, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3. Donate to the Sedona Public Library or Red Rock State Park.

Andrew Pardiac

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
