Dr. Kenneth Hugh Osborn, 86, formerly of Sedona, died May 22.

A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a teacher and administrator in various school districts in California. Upon retirement, he moved to Sedona and opened Many Hands Gallery.

He is survived by his wife Catherine; children Kevin, Karen, Denise, Daniel and Juan; and grandchildren Andrew, Dharma and Devon.

A celebration of his life with burial at sea was held Aug. 9 in the Pacific Ocean beyond the San Pedro Harbor.

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
