For more than 200 West Sedona School and Sedona Red Rock High School students, the world will be their stage Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Indeed, by the end of the International Festival of Song, which will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Sedona Performing Arts Center, all the world will appear to be on its stage as the 38 students in the Sedona Red Rock High School choir will join the six music classes at West Sedona School for three international songs of unity — including the “Children’s Anthem,” written and performed by local musician Shondra Jepperson.
“The whole point of this is unity,” WSS music teacher Jeanie Carroll said. “My dream has always been to include other schools.”
