Coffee Pot Restaurant invites all to free turkey dinner1 min read

Coffee Pot Restaurant will host its eighth annual Thanksgiving dinner Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

Last year, the restaurant, owned by Emile Daher, brought in more than 400 guests for the free turkey dinner. Daher hopes that this year will bring in even more.

“This town has been so good to us — to me and my family,” Daher said. “I just want to give back because [the community] has been so good to us. It’s great to enjoy what God gives us with the community here.”

Coffee Pot will close at its regular time of 2 p.m. that Tues-day and reopen at 4 p.m. During those two hours, Daher and his staff will be busy preparing the dinner, which includes his wife’s homemade cranberry sauce.
