Mary Holmes Bloomer, of Sedona, died Oct. 28.
During her Library of Congress and Flagstaff Public Library career, she became president of Bonsai Clubs International and a board member of the National Bonsai Foundation.
She is survived by her husband Peter and her brother John.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Church. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the National Bonsai Foundation in Washington, D.C., or the Nature Conservancy.

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
