When you took your first breath, it was like musical chairs. There is a divine language that continually speaks in each moment. You are the creation of a moment. Where was every heavenly body when the music stopped and you were born! If you are a Virgo, the Sun was in the Virgo section. But the Sun sign hardly describes you. Your personal birth, natal astrology chart, is more complex than just the Sun.
Mercury tells us how you think and communicate, Venus how you love and the type of romantic partner you attract, as well as what your desires are; Mars pinpoints the type of energy level you will have, what motivates you, and the type of intimate partner who will show up. The rest of the planets tell more of your personal story, and the houses reveal the background scenes where action will take place, etc.
You were born with the Moon in a particular zodiac sign. And every two and a half years your Moon sign changes as it glides into the next sign beside it. Your birth Moon sign brings back, from past life, the unfinished emotional business you came here to work through.
The Moon sign also rules your emotional instincts, first responses to situations and depending on what sign it moves into, what you will be emotionally invested in for each two and a half years. If you know when it will change it’s easy to notice the ‘mood swing.’
It’s not a bad thing. Not at all. It’s simply a change of traits and characteristics that will take you on a different path. If Moon’s in Capricorn you could be career focused, perhaps enjoying putting in lots of work time, etc.
That’s not to say that your other birth planets don’t change like the Moon. They do too. Just not as often. This is called progressed astrology. When you go to an astrologer they will see who you created yourself to be, and who you are now! Your birth planets are like your skin and bones; the basic skeleton you created; the blueprint of your home.
But we make changes to the house; we buy new furniture, fix leaks, put on a new roof or coat of paint, make an addition… Any change changes the basic blueprint. We may alternatively go in a destructive way for a while, bashing holes into the walls or not cleaning or organizing. Bugs may infest.
We may eventually realize we don’t like basking in dirt and hire someone or a crew to help clean and rebuild our home/self. No judgment. Just free will choices that ultimately, this life or next, feel so uncomfortable that we do rise like the phoenix out of the ashes, better. So eventually it all leads to evolving, on different time schedules.
This changeable home we call You (and me) can be looked at as destiny. The planets will move; we cannot change their path through the zodiac, nor can we alter the timing of those changes. You don’t have a choice but to surrender to them. Most of you may not even be aware of the changing structures in your life by way of your birth planets progressing into new zodiac signs and traits.
Your free will comes in when you have choices to make about how to use the playing fields you get; go to sleep (go unconscious) and surrender to any type of person that may or may not have your best interests at heart, strive too hard for money and fame, forgetting that a balance is required for the health of your structure, sacrifice enough sleep, whole food, integrity, not listening to God inspire and raise you through intuitive guidance; resisting being unconditionally loving to all, and you get the picture.
Free will is the choice to paint the room green, beige, blue or black. Did you choose lacy window coverings, top-down bottom-up shades, or black out curtains? The choices chosen will bring a certain type of effect to your life and actions.
If a planet’s move indicates, for instance, a potential change in career, do you take the job offer in a bank you know will be boring and too conservative for you, but is much more money, or choose to take the creative job that will utilize your imagination and bring more fun, but a much lower starting salary? If you follow your heart, the money will follow, as it did with me decades ago.
Recognizing my talents in the creative field I chose, the raises came quickly; one after another, to more than the bank job salary, and I was given my own office overlooking the Bay, in San Francisco. I made the same leap years ago, deciding to relocate to Sedona. Following my knowing, that… I left my heart, in sweet Sedona. High on a hill, it called to me.
Know that your wish/intense thought becomes your command, as you are co-creator with God. You have free will to leap, or cower with lead feet. It may be in the stars, but the stars and planets give you options from the traits and characteristics they rule, plus options from the traits ruled by the zodiac sign they are in. Your free will choices just follow the natural law of attraction, as in the famous book, Think and Grow Rich…or do the thoughts you think/believe over and over, keep you from being rich?
What have you been attracting? Surrender to your best life and take that leap of faith. I’m not talking about a fingers crossed hope, but intense faith. There is a distinct difference. What do you believe about God?
Come to believe God is only good, loving, abundant, healthy, with good reasons for everything, divine and miraculous. Practice allowing God’s traits to live through you, and…Practice surrendering to God in small steps. Notice nature’s responses, and as you see more and more that you can trust, then you’ve entered the land of sweet surrender and bliss.
