Harry W. Schoenberg, of Sedona, died Nov. 19.

A retired surgeon and resident since 1993, he was active on many community boards, including the Sedona Medical Center, Verde Valley School, Chamber Music Sedona and Verde Valley Sinfonietta.

He is survived by his wife, Lelia; children Mark and Richard Schoenberg and Jennifer Lustman; stepchildren Nicole and Michelle Stacey; and 14 grandchildren.

A memorial will be held Friday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m., at The Jewish Community of Sedona and Verde Valley.

Andrew Pardiac

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
