Kate Kramer Preston, formerly of Sedona, died Nov. 14.

She is survived by her husband Ed Preston of Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico; son Gregory [Sheila] Sandler of N. Hampton, Mass.; daughters Margaret Sandler Moran of Napa, Idaho and Andrea Sandler [Scott] Block of Chandler; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her brother, Theodore [Jackie] Kramer of Arlington, Va.; and a niece and nephew.

Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of the Valley.

Andrew Pardiac

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
