Joann Biddle, of Sedona, died Dec. 12.

She and her husband James moved to Sedona in 1963 and opened a flower shop and nursery, later called Biddle’s Nursery. She retired from the nursery in 2008 and took up beading and other hobbies.

She is survived by her son Greg and daughter-in-law Karla; grandchildren Matt, Nathan and Angela; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m.

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
