On Tuesday, Jan. 21, middle school students at Sedona Charter school had their second-to-last class to create their projects for another installment of the school’s Artist in the Classroom series. This portion’s artist was Paul Kessel, an art professor and administrator retired from Yavapai College. The focus was art and geology.

Kessel said his involvement in the series began by picking up a paper.

“I saw an article in the Sedona Red Rock News. I said, ‘Wow, that sounds like something I’d enjoy, something I’d be good at,’” Kessel said.

For the full story, see the Friday, Jan. 24, edition of the Sedona Red Rock News.
