Geraldine C. Kipp, 90, of Iola, Kan., died Jan. 31 from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident.

She was the mother of Patricia [David] Shryock, formerly of Sedona.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, at St. John’s Parish Hall in Iola with mass following at 10 and 10:30 a.m.

Memorials to Wichita Diocesan Seminary Fund or Allen Community College Endowment Fund may be sent to Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel, 16 N. Buckeye, Iola, Kan., 66749.

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
