Members of the Sedona Visual Artists’ Coalition are inviting the public to their homes and studios this weekend during the Open Studio Tour, Friday, April 25, through Sunday April 27.

Nearly 40 artists are participating in the event, including Mike Upp, the event’s organizer. The artists will roll out the welcome mats to show all types of media, from ceramics to oil paintings.

Of course, the art isn’t the only reason to go. Unlike galleries, these home tours will have the artists there, in their own environment, allowing the viewer to ask questions and see how certain pieces are made. Demonstrations in several media will run throughout the weekend at several locations.

For the full story, see the Wednesday, April 23, edition of the Sedona Red Rock News.
