In her next-to-last home softball game at Sedona Red Rock High School, senior catcher Randi Hatcher had a triple and three runs batted in to lead the Scorpions to a 10-3 victory over Horizon Honors High School.

Khalie Barber, the only other Scorpions senior, had an RBI and scored a run in the win. Junior Lily Davis added 3 RBIs on a triple and also matched Hatcher’s run scored, while sophomore Emma Keider had a double and two other hits, scored a run and added an RBI.

Junior Emily Aitken also had a triple, striking out six and allowed four hits in the complete-game, seven-inning victory, the Scorpions’ ninth of the spring.

Sedona Red Rock High School is ranked No. 27 in the Arizona Interscholastic Association’s Division III power rankings. In order to qualify for the state tournament, the Scorpions need to win their final two contests — Friday, April 25, at Combs High School and Senior Day, Wednesday, April 30, against Coronado High School — and be ranked No. 24 or better Thursday, May 1.
