Christopher Cutshaw is the warm smile that greets customers coming in for a cold treat on most days of the week.

Cutshaw is the director of operations at a local frozen yogurt business. A graduate of Mingus Union High School last year, he said he only recently earned his new title.

Looking back on his education, he said he realized that popularity wasn’t going to get him far past high school, so he focused on academics, which he hopes to continue to apply soon.

Cutshaw was raised in Cottonwood, though he moved to Sedona upon graduation of high school, and said he enjoys the area. His job takes up a decent amount of his time, though, working around 55 hours a week. When not at work, he enjoys hiking through the red rocks. He recommends trying out Devil’s Bridge for those who haven’t.

“There’s never too much hiking in Sedona,” he said.
