According to Arizona nonprofit organization Act One, “Finding quality things to do for both you and your family, on a budget, is not easy.”

It is a statement many parents would likely agree with. Fortunately for Sedona parents, on, Jan. 8 Act One and the Sedona Public Library officially partnered up, allowing anyone with a library card the opportunity to visit 19 of the state’s museums — for free.

The program, called Culture Pass, is as simple as checking out a book. A library card holder visits the Culture Pass kiosk located in the library lobby, selects any of the available museum cards and presents it to the reference desk for checkout. He or she is given a date-due slip that admits two people to that museum.

The window of opportunity for each slip is seven days, and passes are limited only to general admission.
