The vote, which occurred after press time, was scheduled to take place during the Tuesday, April 14, Sedona City Council meeting.

Monday’s meeting, which drew about 40 people including four city council members and city staff, was designed to inform the audience what CVS’ original plan was and what the alternative is.
The city published a notice of possible quorum prior to the meeting.
The original plan called for a zone change to increase the size of the commercial land at the corner of State Route 89A and Airport Road from one to two acres to accommodate the building, driveway and parking. The remaining three acres would be left vacant in perpetuity.
