Sedona Arts Center Gears Up for Loving Bowls1 min read

December 12 Event Announces New Partnership with The Melting Point Glass Studio.

Sedona Arts Center is preparing for a bigger, better Loving Bowls fundraiser on December 12, and the public is invited. This beloved community event will take place from noon to 3 pm that Saturday, and offers a beautiful selection of hand-made bowls for sale, great food, creative conversations, and loads of fun at the Arts Center. Loving Bowls is free and open to everybody.

Over 1000 bowls have been lovingly hand-crafted and glazed by the Arts Center’s generous local potters. This year, thanks to a new creative partnership with The Melting Point glass studio, over 50 hand-blown glass bowls will also be offered. Proceeds from sales of Loving Bowls benefit the Sedona Food Bank, Sedona Community Center and the educational programs of Sedona Arts Center.

“Our Loving Bowls event is growing with new and exciting energy,” said Dennis Ott, Director of the Arts Center’s Ceramics Studio. “Thanks to the founders and artists of The Melting Point, we’ve got a new creative twist showcasing another local artistic force. We encourage the public to visit their hot shop and gallery in West Sedona to discover some amazing glass objects.”
