Perhaps you have been feeling like nothing was moving forward in life as you would have liked. In fact, people or things may have been depleted of energy or life force. Every delay or issue may have shown up…’to everything there is a season and a reason for everything under the sun.’
Back in April, two intense, powerful planets, which have a great deal to do with generating our energy, ditched their forward movement, in favor of slowing down, then getting some shut eye, plunging themselves, and us all, into what seems like a stopping motion. Do you remember noticing that in April? Read on to know what is happening now!
Well, Pluto sleeps every year for almost half a year, but Mars only sleeps once every two years, for 2 ½ months. These times are called retrograde. They both stopped to slowly fall asleep mid-April, which was intense. Mars wakes today, June 29th at 4:38 pm pacific time. This is called stationing direct.
Hip, hip hooray, those of us in the know say. Now mind you, stationing direct is like windshear; from not effecting the wind, to all-of-a-sudden sitting up in bed and putting its feet on the floor to walk, moving the air radically, like a plane taking off from the land.
At take-off, every trained pilot knows to wait until the plane in front of it is far enough up in the air that the air near ground has stopped whirling in windshear from its disruption by that take-off, so that his or her plane will not get caught in it, but soar through calm air, not crashing down.
We have been in this Mars windshear for about a week or more, and it will continue for a bit. Expect big shifts, at this windshear time, or at least notice them on the news or from your friends and family. We have heard big global news already, right?
I say ‘already’ because the ‘stationing’ period of seemingly waking up to move forward, actually begins before the actual moment of moving, stationing forward, {which is this afternoon, June 29). Compare it to yawning, breathing more deeply, rolling around or stretching out but still laying down in bed.
To give you another great way to understand how Mars’ movement effects us, he usually clips along forward in the sky about one degree within the zodiac circle, every two days. Since about June 18, and through July 11, he will be at the same degree. That’s almost a month at the same degree! So, though waking and moving ahead, it is tiny, tiny, baby steps, getting used to walking like a small child, again.
Yes, things will start moving forward, and most realistically mid-July. But intense shifts are showing up at this time of windshear. Just hold steady with any little bumps in the road. All is in divine timing, and will smooth out. One of our lessons is to be patient and sturdy.
Keep in mind that when Mars sleeps, he moves from outwardly taking us by the hand and pulling us forward, to inwardly taking up space in our psyche, and our energy isn’t as peppy, nor do things really snap, crackle and pop like when Mars is running like the wind, holding our hand, taking us ‘there.’
Instead, taking up residence and lodged in our psyche during retrograde, Mars has us revisit what our passions had been, our angers, our love life, our motivations, etc.
How do we respond to anger, are we following the right passion, or were we in a rut, how has our passionate love life been; are we with the right partner; can things be talked out and made better, and are old partners we had passion with, showing up again, not necessarily meaning to revive things, mind you.
All retrogrades are God’s way of giving us a pause to review, rethink, study intently as in for an exam, and lessons are revealed in how things can be tweaked, realized, and adjusted to better serve us all.
For the last month Mars was retrograde in Scorpio, which forces us to examine our darkest Scorpio traits that need examining; fears, shames, guilts, angers, secrets, hidden agendas, grudges, and those negative things we’ve been holding on to for no good reason, to see the deepest, darkest places in us that we generally don’t want to take the time to deal with.
This leads to healing ourselves as we recognize what needs to be changed, and how it is no longer relevant, nor serving our greater good. We can’t fix what we don’t know needs fixing, so whala!
This stationing direct motion of Mars is the time of coming out from the shadows after having a likely intense deep emotional review, release and rejuvenation, and show our lighter, more beautiful, inner life on the outer plane where we exhibit our subconscious motivations, whether still cluttered or clean.
Our energy will be picking back up, and we should be able to see and know where our deepest desires and passions are now. They may not be the same, or greatly revitalized. New opportunities present themselves, which we feel aligned with.
Some may go on your trips now, at the very least with more vigor. Others may be making decisions about where to relocate. And still others may get involved in business; whether new or newly revised, with lots of energy within and Mars providing, once again, the hand to pull us forward with its magic.
Take off like your favorite bird, now that you can see the bigger picture from above and within, then soar into your deepest passions with love.
