Apostolos George Anastassiou, age 79, formerly of Sedona, died Sept. 17 in Flagstaff.

He is survived by wife, Pam; daughter, Anita [Nick] Bono; sons Basil [Lynn] and Andrew [Trace]; two grandchildren; a sister; nephew and niece; first wife, Lubab Freeman; and friends and former colleagues.

Private services will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been established at Wells Fargo Bank for contributions in support of his many causes.

Andrew Pardiac

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
